Do you provide wet weather gear?
Yes. We provide wet weather jackets onboard the America’s Cup, Pride of Auckland, Lion New Zealand and Ocean Adventure vessels.

What is suitable attire?
We recommend wearing warm, comfortable clothing with secure, flat footwear.

Is there a minimum age requirement?
Vessels are suitable for most ages and abilities. America’s Cup yachts - we recommend a minimum age of 10 years - final decision is at the skipper’s discretion on the day. If children are expected please let us know prior to departure.

Can we bring our own catering and beverages?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own catering and beverages.
Catering – no charge
Corkage - $5.00 + GST per person or $250 + GST flat rate
All crockery, glasses, etc. are not provided with BYO however this can be organised at additional cost.

What is the cancellation policy?
We require 30 days notice if the booking is to be cancelled. If the booking is cancelled or amended within 30 days the full value of the charter will be payable. If a confirmed booking is cancelled more than 30 days before the charter a 20% cancellation fee will apply.

How will weather affect my booking?
Rain will not affect any of our departures, only extreme wind conditions. It will also depend which boat is booked as to how extreme the conditions need to be. In the unlikely event we cancel the trip due to extreme weather or other circumstances a full refund will be given if an alternative vessel or date cannot be arranged.

Can I personalize my sailing event?
Absolutely! Options may include branded flags and banners onboard the yachts, photography, personalized medals, merchandise plus more! Ask our team for options.

Can I participate in sailing the yacht?
Onboard the Pride of Auckland, America’s Cup yachts and Lion New Zealand passengers are encouraged to actively participate in sailing. Depending on the vessel and its set up we can tailor this to suit you.

Where do we meet?
Auckland – Please check in at the Booking Kiosk the Viaduct Harbour (cnr Lower Hobson and Quay Streets) directly opposite Snapdragon Bar and Restaurant. Map>>

Bay of Islands – Our office is based in the centre of the township on the corner of Marsden & Williams Roads, Paihia. The boats are berthed on the wharf opposite. Map>>

Is there parking?
Auckland – Yes

Cars - there is limited parking on the Eastern Viaduct Wharf or the downtown Wilson Carpark on the corner of Lower Hobson and Strudee Streets.

Coaches – Plenty of coach space on Lower Hobson Street - a 30 second walk to the boats.

Bay of Islands – Public car park on Williams Road, 50 metres from our office.

Is there any storage onboard?
We recommend bringing minimal belongings.
Our America’s Cup yachts are sleek grand prix machines with little to no storage. If sailing on these we have dock boxes which are locked and secured for belongings not required during the sailing.

On the Pride of Auckland, Lady Gay, Dolphin Explorer and Dolphin Discovery vessels there is space onboard.
